St.Patrick’s Island We went to St. Patrick’s Island with the Kindergartens, Grade ones, twos and threes. While there we went to four locations on the island and followed our maps. We played and explored each location. We determined what we would like to keep and what we would like to change. Next week, we will be marking the four locations we visited on our maps using stickers. Langevin Island We did more of our web on Langevin Island. We took all of the things we liked about St. Patrick’s Island and we thought about what would be the ultimate field study location. I added to my web and took a few things away. I took away the nuclear plant because it was not healthy for the environment, its dangerous and it wouldn’t help a lot. I had 26 things on my web and then when we came back to it I added a couple more and then I had 30. St Patrick’s Island made me think about some stuff I was going to add like the type of animals I would like and also I added canyons, pathways and a castle. I can’t wait to design and draw my ultimate island next week!
